Inspod – Video & Podcast notes
Okay so the first step now is while watching a YouTube video I can take down notes along with the timestamps of the video and this is helpful because not only does it help create an automatic timeline it also takes me exactly to the moment in the video by just clicking on it.
And not just videos I can do this exact same thing for podcasts as well the app is called Inspod. It’s super useful to help you capture, organize, and even share information you basically search and open a YouTube video and then tap on the star icon to highlight any moment.
You can rename the moment to recall better and optionally add a note or a description and you can do the exact same thing for podcasts also. But it gets better instead of writing a node you could transcribe so convert whatever is being said in the podcast to actual digital words.
Now I imagine myself using this for a lot of research that I do and to organize it you can also add tags which makes it really easy for you to look for those relevant videos or podcasts really quickly. And of course, you can share all of this with your friends or a social media platform of your choice.
And you can sign in to keep your notes synced on your phone and even access the web. And they’re also planning to bring a web extension so that would be really cool by the way, this is completely free to use so try it out.
Bridge – mirror notifications
Now with this next app, let’s say I get a notification on one phone, and I have that notification on another phone from where I can view it or dismiss it. The app is called Bridge, and it’s a very simple app that allows you to mirror notifications between any two Android devices—could be phones or tablets.
So when one device receives a notification, the other phone gets it too, where I could then respond to the notification or simply dismiss it, and it gets dismissed on the original phone as well. And if I send a reply, it will go via the original device—super cool.
You can install it on as many devices as you want, and you can decide which ones will receive mirrored notifications. You can also decide the apps for which notifications will get mirrored. So if there are certain apps that you don’t want notifications to get mirrored for, you can do that.
Now, do remember to go into general settings and turn on the mirroring of incoming calls and mirror them immediately. Of course, this does imply it will consume your battery slightly faster, but that’s your choice. But there is a caveat; there is a seven-day trial period.
